(same as Women's and Gender Studies [WGST] 3230) Course explores Black transnational politics of sex/sexuality and examines the theoretical, historical, and socio-cultural context that race, gender, and sexuality are used as analytical concepts. Students learn a transdisciplinary approach and apply this newly acquired information to analyze shifts in the field of Black sexuality studies. Sophomore standing required. May be repeated for credit.
