Aesthetics and Performance is the 2nd course offered in a four-semester, upper-level Humanities Series. It takes an Interdisciplinary approach to a variety of topics relevant to such disciplines as Art History, Art, Theater, English, and Film Studies. Students will be introduced to key figures, ideas, and texts in aesthetics and performance. The course format will be a combination of guest lectures, small-group discussion, and when possible, team-teaching. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisites: junior or senior standing. Honors eligibility required.
