Ireland, from Partition to the Present: After surveying the conflicts that led to Irish revolution and partition in 1916-23, the course focuses on the development of post partition Ireland and Northern Ireland, and on the violence that has scarred Northern Ireland since the 1960s. Prerequisites: May be restricted to History majors only during preregistration. Recommended: HIST 3610 and/or HIST 3611.
