This course is primarily for education majors. This course covers topics of Euclidean geometry such as the study of points, lines, angles, polygons, circles, congruence, similarity, transformations, symmetry, area, surface area, arc length, and volume. Polyhedra, spheres, cones, and other solids are discussed. The course includes constructions and proofs, and uses inductive and deductive reasoning throughout. Math Reasoning Proficiency Course. Prerequisites: C- or higher in MATH 1100 or sufficient ALEKS exam score or MATH 1160 or equivalent.
