This course provides students with an introduction of cultural knowledge with the purpose of enhancing the student’s ability to see the world from a global perspective. Students will learn to value and appreciate the culture and philosophy of the host country’s civilization through the examination of its arts, culture, food, language, and history. May be repeated for credit. Selected sections of the course may be offered on A-F or S/U basis only. Prerequisites: Instructor’s consent. Recommended: student’s advisor consent.
