This course introduces students to the significant Greek authors and presents their writings within the context of the times in which they lived. Emphasis is placed on exploring the major themes developed in the works of each author and using the study of literature to develop students’ ability to think critically and creatively. Prerequisites: Honors eligibility required. Recommended: AMS 1060.
