Greece: From the Bronze Age to the Byzantine Empire – Honors

This immersive learning experience will include an on-campus portion of learning as well as traveling to Greece to study the intersections among ancient, Byzantine, and modern Greece. The on-campus portion will cover the basics of Greek history, mythology, and art history. During the overseas itinerary, you will visit and learn about major Greek mainland and island archaeological sites and museums. Application is required. Freshmen are welcome to apply. The study abroad portion of this course is supported by MU’s International Center. Graded on A-F basis only. Prerequisites: Honors eligibility required. Recommended: AMS 1060.
