This course explores human host-pathogen interactions, including the influence of human culture on infectious disease transmission and spread. We will examine these dynamics through time and across diverse environments, utilizing social science approaches and analyzing historical epidemics to understand human-disease evolutionary dynamics. Prerequisites: Honors eligibility required. Recommended: Sophomore standing.
