Course explores Black transnational politics of sex/sexuality and examines the theoretical, historical, and socio-cultural context that race, gender, and sexuality are used as analytical concepts. Students learn a transdisciplinary approach and apply this newly acquired information to analyze shifts in the field of Black sexuality studies. May be repeated for credit. Recommended: sophomore standing required.
