Covers chemical nomenclature, stoichiometry, kinetic molecular theory, atomic structure, periodic properties, and molecular structure and bonding. Satisfies laboratory science requirement. No credit for CHEM 1320 and CHEM 1400/CHEM 1401. Prerequisites: MATH 1100. MATH 1050 is NOT an appropriate substitution for College Algebra. Prerequisites or Corequisites: CHEM 1400. Honors eligibility required.
