One semester course covering principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics. Topics include opportunity costs, gains from trade, efficiency and markets, non-competitive markets, game theory, government spending and taxation, economic growth, monetary and fiscal policy, unemployment and inflation, exchange rates. Math Reasoning Proficiency Course. Prerequisites: Honors eligibility required and C- or higher in MATH 1050 or MATH 1100.
