Policies and Institutions of the European Union

(same as POL_SC 4670, PUB_AF 4670; cross-leveled with ECONOM 7670, PUB_AF 7670). This course examines the politics, political actors, and institutions of the European Union from a comparative perspective. It questions whether we can view the EU as a federal democratic system similar to the U.S.
