This seminar introduces students to creative writing in the context of narrative medicine, an interdisciplinary framework that applies methods of creative writing to clinical practice. Through writing works of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, future healthcare professionals will build an understanding of how perspective, language, and form shape the stories patients tell and clinicians interpret. Graded on A-F basis only.
