Introduction to the range of theoretical approaches to the study of African Diaspora literature, with particular attention to the diverse socio-political contexts that undergird range of literary, historical, and cultural theories; intended as a broad survey of African Diaspora literary theory, whether from the Slavery era onward or 20th century literary theory and beyond. May be repeated for credit with consent. Prerequisites: ENGLSH 1000.
