(same as FILMS_VS 3865). This course explores how the Holocaust has been depicted on film in a variety of national and historical contexts. Drawing on films from 1945 to the present, from the U.S., Germany, Poland, France, and Italy, we will consider to what end images of the Holocaust have been used. Graded on A-F basis only. Prerequisites: sophomore standing.
