This course on the world of work and labor employs multidisciplinary approaches across the behavioral and social sciences. Topics include the history of work and labor, social and economic theories of production, motivation, job satisfaction, workplace discrimination, gendered, raced, and classed work, underemployment, globalization, and the rise of artificial intelligence. Meets Behavioral Science requirement for Gen Ed Honors course. Prerequisites: Honors eligibility required.
