This course examines the emerging Science of Well-Being through an interdisciplinary lens, drawing from psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and related fields to explore fundamental questions about happiness, self-understanding, and life balance. Students will survey evidence-based research and practices for developing wellness across physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions. Through scientific evaluation of primary literature and personal experimentation, students will learn to assess their own well-being, create action plans for improvement, and incorporate research-backed strategies into their daily lives. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical tools to enhance their personal well-being and understand the interconnected nature of human flourishing. Personal well-being experiments and self-assessment activities are required components of this course. Graded on A-F basis only.
