With an emphasis on prosocial education, this course offers an overview of strategies and skills for building community in the elementary and secondary classroom. Teacher candidates will explore the roles of empathy, culture, and support as they develop a professional philosophy and action plan for classroom management in their own teaching practice. Graded on A-F basis only.
