The course is conceived as an interdisciplinary route for undergraduates to explore key aspects of the modern history of Central Asia and Afghanistan. The course offers students a valuable opportunity to experience the culture and diversity of Central Asia and Afghanistan and to analyze current events and policy decisions in which the West, including the United States, are involved.
