Students will learn how scientific investigators have formulated research questions to examine social, cultural, and gendered influences on the development of self. Students will consider how research on the social construction of self informs related areas within developmental and lifespan psychology, and how this research is related to health and intervention issues. Prerequisites: This course may be restricted to Undergraduate Psychology Majors during Early Registration. Recommended: PSYCH 1000.
