(same as ANTHRO 4280; cross-leveled with REL_ST 7280, ANTHRO 7280). Examines how anthropologists conceptualize religious behavior, and how archaeologists use material remains to examine past religious behavior, rituals, religious practitioners, magical practices, cosmological constructs, worldview and ideology in the Americas. Prerequisites: ANTHRO 2020 and/or REL_ST 2100.
