This course explores the phenomena of dress and appearance from three perspectives: anthropological, psychological, and sociological. By integrating conceptual and theoretical content with examination of cultural values and behavior, gain a global perspective that is sensitive to cultural and social influences on dress and appearance practices across diverse populations. Graded on A-F basis only. Prerequisites: Honors eligibility required.
