This course will examine the scientific process and how it has evolved over the years, starting from the inception of the scientific method in the Middle Ages through the present day. The course will focus on the impact of advancements in technology and societal and cultural views on some of the most significant breakthroughs in biology. Prerequisites: BIO_SC 1010 or BIO_SC 1500 or equivalent.
