This course is an introduction to Environmental Health as it relates to Public Health. Students will learn about the effects of environmental factors on a population’s health and identify the connections between human health, animal health, and ecosystem health. Students will explore the role governments play in environmental health and identify the how globalization affects global burdens of disease. Graded on A-F basis only. Prerequisites: Restricted to Public Health Majors during early registration.
