Introduces the basic concepts and traditional principles of plant genetics and applications of new technologies to solve plant genetic problems. Emphasis given to breeding and biotechnological applications in agriculture. Prerequisites: MATH 1100 or higher, and BIO_SC 1200 or BIO_SC 1500 or PLNT_SCI 1500.
